Scene is focused on three differentiated cases of use in the digital content production, Digital Cinema, Virtual Scenery, and receiving content at home . Brainstorm ‘s role within the project is focused on the field of Virtual Set Design, which from advanced sensors developed by ARRI, from the scanning systems developed by the University of Surrey and the multi- object capture developed by HHI institute aims to equip virtual studios with new capabilities such as three-dimensional representation of the presenter, the occlusion calculations between virtual and real objects, casting shadows between real and virtual objects, and the interaction between the presenter and virtual objects. It also intends to take advantage of the technology to capture real objects developed in SURREY to get more realistic and even virtual scenes based on real scenarios.
